  1. Where are the best locations to have a logo applied on a wrestling mat?

To view some sample idea/layouts, click on Popular Layouts on Wrestling Mats. Logos can be applied on both sides of the mat in any location. Resilite suggests fitting the logo in one section of the mat.

    Corners of the Mat
Choose to have logos in the corners of the mat. The logos can face the same direction or they can face opposite directions (called facing out). A logo can also be applied on an angle (45°) facing outward in one or all of the corners.

If a mat is smaller than 36 sq. ft. and the mat has a 28' wrestling circle on it, the corner areas of the mat will be smaller. There may not be enough room for a standard 6' logo.

    Wrestling Area of the Mat
Some customers choose to have logos inside the wrestling area of the mat just above or below the outside of the 10' circle. Most oversized logos (11' - 30') are located in the center of the mat. A standard 6' logo usually will fit above or below the outside of the 10' circle on 38' x 38' or larger mat size if the mat is cut into 3 sections.

    Center of the Mat
Logos can be applied in the center of the mat. However, Resilite doesn't suggest putting the logo in this location. Over time & years of use, the logo in the center of the mat will receive wear & tear.

  4. How should I care for or clean my wrestling mat?

    Mat Cleaning Guide (PDF)

Use a disinfectant cleaner such as KenClean Plus, which is a disinfectant used in hospitals. It will not harm your mat's finish and it cleans and disinfects in one easy step. This disinfectant kills viruses, bacteria, fungi and much more.

    • Use a mop or soft cloth to wet the area with warm, cleaning solution.
    • Do NOT allow water to seep underneath mat.
    • Do NOT allow puddles of cleaning solution or water to remain on the mat’s surface for an extended period of time.
    • Use a Shop-Vac® or soft cloths to remove excess cleaning solution.
    • It is important to change the cleaning solution often.
    • After removing all the cleaning solution from the mat’s surface, use clean water and a clean mop, sponge or cloth to remove any soap residue from the mat surface.
    • Allow mat to fully dry. Using a fan will accelerate drying time.
    • Repeat the entire cleaning process on the opposite side of the mat.

  5. Are my mats able to be reconditioned?

Some mats can be reconditioned by Resilite to extend the life of a mat. However, there are some mats that are beyond the point of repair. If Resilite receives a mat to be reconditioned and Resilite cannot recondition the mat, it will be the customer's responsibility to pay for half of the shipping costs. It is very important to inspect your mats to see if your mats can be repaired. – See Reconditioning
